Man sentenced for promoting prostitution in Rochester

ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) -- A Brooklyn Park man accused of being part of a prostitution operation in Rochester has been sentenced to 45 months in prison.

Sandy Yancy was convicted in Olmsted County Court on Tuesday of one count of promoting prostitution of an individual.

He pleaded guilty to the charge in May.

Yancy was arrested last year after a woman told police that Yancy advertised sexual services from her on a website.
