FARIBAULT, Minn. (KTTC) -- A 9-year-old girl was hit by a semi while crossing the street in Faribault.
The accident happened just after 5 p.m. Tuesday.
The semi was eastbound on Highway 21, when the driver stopped as a pedestiran crossed the road. The pedestrian crossed, but the driver of the semi did not see the 9-year-old crossing as well.
He hit the young girl.
She was flown to North Memorial Hospital in Minneapolis with non-life-threatening injuries.
