Police arrest shoplifting suspects on Highway-52

ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) -- There was a spectacle on Highway-52 in Rochester Tuesday morning, as law enforcement surrounded a suspect vehicle and multiple arrests followed.

At least 6 law enforcement officers surrounded the vehicle on Highway-52 at about 9:45 a.m. Tuesday.

Officers from the Minnesota State Patrol and Rochester police then stopped the car on northbound Highway-52 near the 2nd Street exit.

The three adult men who were in the vehicle were arrested.

Rochester police are handling the case and say the suspect vehicle was coming from Walmart south where the men are believed to have shoplifted a number of electronics.

On the scene, officers searched the vehicle for any stolen or illegal items.

Two of the men had existing warrants out for their arrest.

Police say all three live here in Rochester.
