ST. PAUL, Minn. (KTTC) -- If you're looking for a cheaper way to get to work or around town there's a new program that may soon be coming to Rochester.
Nice Ride Minnesota is a bike sharing program sponsored by Blue Cross Blue Shield.
According to the Star Tribune, funding was just approved to hire a director to explore expanding the program to communities outside of the twin cities
Officials said they like the idea of bringing the program to Rochester because of the population density downtown that can support the program.
If the expansion does happen, the earliest we could see the program in the Med City would be in 2014.
