CEDAR RAPIDS (KWWL) -

Cedar Rapids authorities are investigating an early morning apartment fire Tuesday.

Crews say they made multiple trips to the Flagstone Apartments at 300 31st St. NE.

The fire happened just after 2 a.m.

Crews say earlier in the evening, two people had been in the unit. However, at the time of the fire no one was home.

The fire department says they're still investigating the cause. Only one unit was damaged in the fire.

No injures are being reported. The cause is under investigation.
