Rochester woman airlifted in ATV crash


ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) -- A Rochester woman was injured in an ATV accident over the weekend.

It happened at about 9:30 p.m. Sunday on the 8900 block of 43rd Avenue southeast.

The Olmsted County sheriffs office said a 22-year-old woman was driving the ATV when she swerved to miss a dog and crashed.

A 24 year old passenger on the ATV was injured, and was eventually airlifted to Saint Marys Hospital.

The extent of her injuries are not known. The driver wasn't seriously hurt, but was treated for minor cuts and bruises. She was arrested for driving under the influence.
