NEW ULM, Minn. (AP) -- Guitarist Leo Kottke and country and rock singer Mary Jane Alm are among this year's inductees into the Minnesota Music Hall of Fame.
Also being inducted are Twin Cities jazz singer Dennis Spears, accordionist Lorren Lindevig of Cloquet, old-time band leader Leon Olsen of New Ulm and the renowned St. Olaf Choir from St. Olaf College in Northfield.
The 25th annual induction ceremony and banquet will be held Nov. 1 at Turner Halle in New Ulm. Tickets are $45 per person.
The following day, a "2013 Inductee Showcase" will be held at the Minnesota Music Hall of Fame Museum in New Ulm. Admission is free.
Previous Minnesota Music Hall of Fame inductees include Bob Dylan, Bobby Vee, The Trashmen, Judy Garland and Prince.
Friday morning, KTTC learned from Dodge County Sheriff Scott Rose at a press conference that investigators want to build a strong case against Lois Riess before charging her with the murder of her husband David Riess. She already faces a second degree murder charge in Florida for the murder of Pamela Hutchinson.
