FOUNTAIN, Minn. (KTTC) -- If you're looking to get out of the city and onto the farm this weekend, three sisters near Fountain might just have just the thing for you.
The Pfarkel sisters are hosting their 5th annual Vintage Treasures Market on the Farm Thursday through Saturday.
This weekend is about recycling, upcycling, repurposing and redesigning.
The Pfarkel sisters got the idea for the event after one of them was diagnosed with breast cancer.
They hosted a similar event for charity before going off and starting their own.
Out on the farm they have a number of vendors who are selling repurposed and vintage goods.
The ladies draw visitors from all across the Midwest, some driving from as far away as Nebraska -- all for junk redefined.
"We've always enjoyed antiquing and that kind of thing," said Janell Kraut, one of the sisters. "Going to auctions and things. We were brought up that way. Our parents did that kind of thing."
Thursday they had a kickoff event with food, drinks and music -- including some local musicians.
If you missed out Thursday, the event will run form 9 to 6 Friday and 9 to 4 on Saturday.
