Investigators still looking to solve baby Angel case

WINONA, Minn. (KTTC) -- It's been more than a year and a half since baby Angel was found floating down the Mississippi River near Winona and law enforcement is once again asking for your help in solving the case.

As you may recall, she was found in Sept. 2011 in a plastic bag floating down stream -- with an angel figurine inside the bag -- hence her name, baby Angel.

A funeral was held for the baby in April 2012 and was laid to rest at Woodlawn Cemetery.

The Winona County Sheriff's Office is still trying to find the mother. They're offering a reward for any information.

If you know anything you're asked to call the Winona Area Crime Stoppers at 507-457-6530.
