Heroin found at Rochester homes

ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) -- Two men are behind bars after police found more than 50 grams of heroin in their homes.

On Friday, officers arrested 54-year-old Richard Dennin and 47-year-old Eric Smith.

Both face charges of possession.

Police carried out a search warrant at Dennin's property on the 800 block of 7th Avenue Southwest where they found a large amount of heroin.

Neighbors say they had seen several cars stopping at that property for anywhere from 5-to-15 minutes before leaving.

Officers also went to Smith's property on the 100 block of 7th Avenue Northwest where they found more heroin.

The amount found at the two locations totaled more than 50 grams.
