Iowa teen missing after Monday kidnapping


DAYTON, Iowa. (KTTC) -- An Iowa teen is missing after police say a man enticed her and another young girl after getting off the school bus Monday afternoon.

The 15-year-old girl along with a 12-year-old girl were kidnapped near Dayton, Iowa. The 12-year-old escaped and went to a nearby neighbors house for help.

42-year-old Michael Klunder is believed to be the kidnapper. Authorities say he commited suicide on Monday after the kidnappings.

Klunder was involved in a kidnapping in Cerro Gordo County a few years ago when he kidnapped a 21-year-old woman and two 3 year olds.

Police are still seraching for the 15 year old missing teen.
