BYRON, Minn. (KTTC) -- After weeks of lessons on other cultures students at Triton Elementary School got to see first hand some of what they are being taught.
Salsabrosa, a Minnesota band led by two Cuban Natives, visited the kids Thursday as part of the school's Legacy Program.
Staff members at Triton Elementary tell us they've been working with the students all week to learn more about the Latin culture and language. The students have been making instruments and learning dances.
Salsabrosa showcased the impact of Latin music and dance styles in the upper Midwest, even giving the kids and their teachers some lessons.
