Wild look to even series with Blackhawks

ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) -- The Minnesota Wild hope to even up their first-round playoff series with the Chicago Blackhawks at 2-2 tonight.

The Wild beat Chicago 3-2 in overtime in Game 3 on Sunday. Minnesota forward Jason Pominville participated in a light practice yesterday, but Coach Mike Yeo declined to clarify his status for Game 4.

Josh Harding is expected to make his fourth consecutive start in net for the Wild. He is 1-2 with a 2.41 goals-against average and .928 save percentage.

Mike Rupp and Zenon Konopka didn't practice Monday, so LW Stephane Veilleux is expected to play his second consecutive game.

Jake Dowell might make his Wild playoff debut. He previously played two playoff games for the Blackhawks.

Chicago RW Patrick Kane, who led the Western Conference in scoring during the regular season, leads the series with five points, all assists.

Matt Cullen leads the Wild with three points, all assists. Captain Mikko Koivu still is looking for his first point of the series.
