ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) -- Thursday's snowstorm caught many of us off guard... not even our fine-feathered friends were prepared for being buried in more than a foot.
If there is something to be said about a mother's love, we can take a page from the book of one loving mother goose in Southeast Rochester.
When the storm came through she really stuck to her guns... or eggs in this case. Greg Munson snapped a photo of the goose on her nest with snow coming all the way up to her head. "You're (KTTC) weather people were saying we got another six inches just in this last hour. So I came out here to look at her because I knew she was on nest. All I saw was a little black spot."
The nest had as many as 6 eggs in it... however on Monday there were just two left.
So we'll see-- and maybe a follow up on this story will feature a couple of goslings.
