Wykoff woman charged with embezzling money from bank

MINNEAPOLIS (KTTC) -- A Wykoff woman is charged with stealing thousands of dollars from the bank where she worked as head teller.

Cheryl Lynn Holzer, 64, was charged in federal court Friday with one count of bank embezzlement.

Investigators say she stole $35,520 from Security State Bank.

Holzer allegedly took bundles of cash from the bank's vault between Dec. 2010 and Feb. 2012.

If convicted, Holzer could face up to 30 years in prison.
