Car hits snow plow, police ask for help

ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) -- At the height of Thursday's snowstorm, a car lost control and smashed head-on into a snow plow. And now the Olmsted County Sheriffs Office is asking for the public's help.

The crash happened in the heavy snow, around 5:30 a.m. Thursday near the 5500 block of Salem Road southwest in Rochester.

That's where an eastbound car lost control, and crashed into a westbound county snowplow.

The driver of the car was extricated, and transported to Saint Marys Hospital in serious condition.

The sheriffs office is asking anyone who witnessed the crash to come forward, as it's still under investigation.
