ALBERT LEA, Minn. (KTTC) -- The massive May snow downed power lines and caused power outages across Freeborn County and the city of Albert Lea Thursday as well.
Alliant Energy is reported about 800 customers are without power as of 12 p.m. in Albert Lea, down from about 2,400 customers a few hours ago.
Alliant Energy called in crews from as far away as Chatfield to help repair the damage.

Five trucks responded here on Lakeview Boulevard where three poles snaped in half when an oak tree fell and landed on power lines.
