One injured in two-vehicle crash In Zumbrota


ZUMBROTA, Minn. (KTTC) -- One person was injured after a two-vehicle crash in Zumbrota.

State Patrol says it happened around 9:00 p.m. Friday night on Highway 52.

A Nissan Sentra driven by Monica Jebrin, of Rochester was merging onto Highway 52 from Highway 58. That's when a van driven by Michael Kinnetz, of Rochester rear ended the Nissan.

Jebrin was taken to Saint Marys Hospital in Rochester with serious injuries. Jebrin's passenger Beninio Gore, also of Rochester, and Kinnetz were not injured in the crash.

State Patrol, Zumbrota Fire, Goodhue County Sheriff and Mayo One responded to the scene.

The southbound lanes of Highway 52 in the Zumbrota area were closed down for roughly an hour while crews cleared the scene.
