ST. PAUL, Minn. (KTTC) -- It's a green light for Mayo Clinic's "Destination Medical Center".
The House Civil Law Committee has passed the plan on a voice vote for the governing board that would control the DMC Authority.
Some House members had objected to concepts behind the DMC governing board, such as the number of members and who would call the shots, and if the board would be subject to the Open Meeting Law.
A hearing on the plan took place Friday morning in the House Civil Law Committee.
The DMC plan heads now to the House Rules Committee to answer any new concerns.
We'll have more on this story and what it means for Rochester and southeastern Minnesota, Friday night on NewsCenter at 5 and 6.
