DUI arrest after car crashes in Bear Creek


ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) -- A Rochester man was arrested Saturday after crashing into Bear Creek.

According to Rochester Police Lt. Tom Kaase, the 22-year-old man was traveling south on 9th Avenue Southeast just before 4:30 a.m. Saturday when his car left the roadway and ended up in the creek. 

Rochester police located the driver on the south side of Bear Creek where officers established contact and say the driver exhibited signs of intoxication.
Police performed field sobriety tests and arrested the man for a DUI.

He is believed to have been the only person in the vehicle and was not injured in the crash.
