Bull riders wear pink to support breast cancer awareness

ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) -- Gear up in pink tonight-- and yes, guys too. Friday is the 17th Annual Bull Riding Challenge for breast cancer awareness at Graham Arena, on the Olmsted County Fairgrounds in Rochester.

For every person who buys a ticket and wears pink, $4 dollars will be donated to support breast cancer awareness. The event raised $4,000 last year.

As usual, it will be a thrilling weekend featuring some of the best cowboys in the sport of bull riding and some of the best bulls in the country.

But what gets some people really roped into the sport is the entertainment.

We caught up with Gizmo McCracken, who's been providing comedy at these types shows since he was 15. McCracken travels the country to entertain audiences for living, and says it was his calling.

Doors open at 6 p.m. Friday, and tickets are $18 for adults and $7 for kids 12 and under.
