MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (KTTC) -- Wednesday was a big day for Minnesota's heroes. At Wednesday afternoon's Twins-Tigers' game at Target Field, the team honored Vietnam veterans.
This year marks the 50th anniversary of the start of the Vietnam War, so a Minnesota Vietnam veteran raised the American flag right before the game.
More than 30 others will get the chance to do this in April, June and September, as well.
The flag raisings are part of a partnership between the Minnesota Veteran's Administration and the Twins.
