ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) -- Rochester police say a fight broke out in the parking lot outside Buffalo Wild Wings late Thursday night.
According to police, the incident happened Thursday night at around 10:30 p.m.
Several different accounts have been reported about the events leading up to the fight, but authorities say a few women were talking in the parking lot when one was nearly struck by a 29-year-old Stewartville man driving a truck.
When a 25-year-old Rochester resident stepped in, the two started throwing punches and spitting.
The Rochester resident left the scene before police arrived.
Authorities says the Stewartville man will require surgery for a broken jaw.
Witnesses say they saw the fight but could not hear the events that led up to it. Police will look into possible surveillance video.
No arrests were made and no charges have been filed.
