MN Farm Bureau unveils new Ag Cab Lab

Posted:

ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) -- It looks like a real tractor, it sounds like a real tractor and you can drive it in a simulated field. Kids and adults alike are lining up to experience the Ag Cab Lab at the Rochester Children's Museum.

The Minnesota Farm Bureau unveiled the cab Thursday. All it took was the cab, some television screens, a steering wheel and video game software to make it like real life.

It took several months to put the simulated software together, but it's finally complete

The ag cab lab will be featured at different county fairs this summer, but for the next four months, it will be at the Rochester Children's Museum.

The ag cab lab includes an interactive barn and farming area, an agricultural book corner and my American Farm Kiosk donated by DuPont Pioneer.

Officials say it gives children and adults the opportunity to learn more about-- and appreciate-- agriculture.
