MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (KTTC) -- Two renowned hosptials are joining forces. Shriners Hospitals for Children in the Twin Cities will now become part of the Mayo Clinic Care Network.
Physicians at Shriners will be able to connect directly with Mayo Clinic specialists on questions regarding patient care - and have access to the latest evidence-based medical information through the Ask-Mayo-Expert database.
Shriners provides specialized pediatric-orthopedic care throughout the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.
They are the first pediatric hospital to join the Mayo Clinic Care Network.
