Update: Police search for gunman after weekend shooting


ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) -- Rochester police are still searching this morning for the gunman who shot another man in the leg over the weekend.

According police, authorities responded to 540 Northern Hills Drive around 3:00 a.m. Saturday on the report of a shooting.

Authorities found the 21-year-old victim with two gunshot wounds to his lower body. He was transported to St. Marys Hospital where officers say he suffers from non-life threatening injuries.

They have not yet located the gunman or the weapon and are releasing few details. They say he was wearing a black sweatshirt.

They believe the shooting originated from an earlier fight at Whiskey Bones Saturday night.
