ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) -- The installation mass of Pope Francis will be held early Tuesday morning at St. Peter's Square and will be carried live on CW Rochester. It is scheduled for 3:30 a.m. (CDT).
The Vatican spokesman has promised details on Monday, but based on past experience, NBC News expects the Mass to be held in the Square and that it could last for several hours. The Papal Installation Mass in 2005 lasted more than three hours.
Viewers in southeastern Minnesota and northern Iowa will be able to watch the Pope's installation mass in its entirely on CW Rochester, which is free over-the-air on digital channel 10.2. It is carried on many regional cable systems; on Charter Cable in the Rochester area, for example, it is seen on Channel 7. Check local listings for the location of CW Rochester on other cable or satellite systems.
