Missing man found safe in Wisconsin

Plainview, Minn. (KTTC) -- The Plainview Police Department has canceled the missing person alert for Melvin Peterson.

Authorities say Peterson has been found safe in Wisconsin.

The alert was initially issued on March 3, saying that Peterson had been visiting a friend in Alma, Wisconsin when he left around 3:00 p.m. but never returned home and did not show up to work.
