AUSTIN, Minn. (KTTC) -- Austin police are asking residents to keep an eye on their neighbors property after two residential break-ins occurred recently.
The first incident happened sometime between 9:15 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday.
Police say someone entered a home on the 1400 block of 27th Street SW through the garage. It appeared a crow bar had been used to get inside. Some electronics and a safe were taken.
The other break-in was reported around 2:15 p.m. Wednesday afternoon. Someone on the 1400 block of 9th Ave. northwest pried open a back door. A television and electronics were taken.
The loss there is about $2,000 dollars.
Police are not saying if the two incidents are related, but they are asking neighbors to keep an eye out for each other and report any suspicious activities.
