2 suspects sought in Moorhead shooting

MOORHEAD, Minn. (AP) -- Police are looking for two suspects after a man was shot and wounded in Moorhead.

Officers were called to a home in south Moorhead around 3:45 p.m. Wednesday on a report of gunshots. As officers were responding, the Red River Dispatch Center got a phone call from a man saying he had been shot.

Moorhead Police Lieutenant Tory Jacobson says the victim suffered at least two gunshot wounds. A friend took the man to a hospital. His condition was not immediately known.

Investigators aren't sure where the shooting happened.

The Forum newspaper reports police alerted both Concordia College and Minnesota State University Moorhead about the nearby shooting. MSUM sent a campus-wide email alert.

Police are looking for two men in a black or dark navy Dodge Intrepid.
