String of burglaries in Austin

AUSTIN, Minn. (KTTC) - Austin police are continuing to investigate a string of burglaries that all took place Wednesday morning at three different locations in the city.

First, at 7:42 am Wednesday, police say a car was broken into on the 1900 block of 2nd Ave northwest.

Then, at 8:24 am, on the 1500 block of 6th Ave northwest, police say an unknown person entered a detached garage and went through a vehicle.

And, finally, at 9:36 am, police say on the 400 block of 16th street southeast, an unknown suspect removed four tires at the back of the house, estimated to be worth $500.

Police say the three burglaries appear to be unrelated.

Their investigation is continuing.
