Rochester man charged with trespassing

ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) - A local man was charged with trespassing Thursday, after falling asleep in a business and waking up in its restroom after the business was closed.

Rochester police say they responded to reports of a burglar alarm at Pawn America, in the 700 block of 1st Av southeast in Rochester on Thursday.

According to reports, an armed officer in the store approached Taylor Gehrking, 29, who had apparently been in the women's restroom before the store closed.

Police say the suspect had fallen asleep, and then woke up after the store was closed.

Gehrking has a criminal history of exposing himself and committing lewd acts in public. He was cited with trespassing and released.
