Possible animal abuse in Olmsted County?

Posted:

ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) - A prank by two young girls now has the Olmsted County Sheriff's office investigating a potential case of animal abuse.

The picture in question apparently showed the Stewartville girls, ages 12 and 13, with one of their Chihuahuas that had been duct taped to a wall of their home.

The girls then posted a picture of it to Facebook.

That picture was soon turned over to Olmsted County deputies who are now looking at it as a possible case of animal cruelty.

The dog was not injured, and the picture has been removed from Facebook.
