AUSTIN, Minn. (KTTC) - One year after a crash in Mower County that killed two people, charges are filed against the driver.
Jason Fredrickson is facing six counts of criminal vehicular homicide.
According to the complaint, Fredrickson was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash.
Frederickson was drinking on February 25th last year with Jacob Moe, Luke Unverzagt and their wives at a bar. The couples went back to the Unverzagt residence. A short time later, their wives saw Fredrickson's Cadillac leaving the driveway.
Police were called just before 2 A-M to 2810 4th Avenue Southeast where Fredrickson's car had crashed in the front lawn.
Luke Unverzagt was found ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.
Jacob Moe was also ejected and later pronounced dead at Mayo Clinic Health System in Austin.
It was later determined that Frederickson was driving the car.
If convicted, Frederickson faces up to 60 years in prison and thousands of dollars in fines.
