WATERLOO (KWWL) -
The Isle Casino Hotel Waterloo is backing a campaign pushing a "no" vote on whether to bring a new casino to Linn County, according to documents filed Monday.
A document filed Feb. 18 with the Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission shows The Isle requested to spend $150,000 to help the Just Vote No Casino group.
This comes on the heels of documents Friday that show Riverside Casino requested to spend up to $1.5 million backing the Just Vote No campaign.
The special casino referendum vote in Linn County happens March 5.
The document can be found here.

Correction: An earlier version of this story incorrectly reported that The Isle had already spent $150,000 on the Just Say No Casino campaign. The Isle simply requested to spend up to that amount, and filed that notification with the Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission as required by law.
