ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) - A Rochester man who served time in prison for a violent murder is now back behind bars, after police say he pulled a knife on a woman.
Rochester police say Leslie Treadwell, 59, was driving around with a 24 year old woman yesterday in the southeast part of Rochester when a fight broke out that soon escalated.
The victim tells police that Treadwill choked and threatened her before holding a steak knife to her face.
She was able de-escalate the situation and call authorities after getting out of the car.
Rochester police say Treadwell will be facing possible charges of second degree assault and terroristic threats.
Treadwell was convicted of second-degree murder back in 2001 for stabbing Joseph Bale to death, and was sentenced to 15 years in prison.
