ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) - Get used to paying more at the pump. Gas prices rose again Monday throughout much of southeastern Minnesota.
The average cost of a gallon of gas has jumped 51 cents in the last two months, putting the average price here in Rochester at $3.75, with some stations selling a gallon for as much as $3.79.
What's behind the jump at the pump?
Triple-A says prices usually jump up this time of year, but it's more dramatic this year due to the severe snowstorm in the northeast, and concerns over Iran's nuclear efforts.
Analysts say it's likely prices will peak in April before they start receding.
