WATERLOO (KWWL) -
Three people are accused of transporting drugs from Detroit to Waterloo, including a Waterloo woman.
Investigators with the Tri-County Drug Enforcement Task Force executed a search warrant at a home in the 1700 block of Cornwall Avenue Sunday morning around 2 a.m.
Investigators say they found ecstasy, crack cocaine and marijuana. They say they also seized a .45-caliber handgun.
Luke James Behnke, 42, of East Dubuque, Ill., is charged with conspiracy to distribute more than 5 grams of ecstasy, conspiracy to distribute more than 10 grams of crack cocaine and conspiracy to distribute marijuana. He is being held on a $205,000 bond.
Charles Robert Newell, 35, of Redford, Mich., is charge with being a felon in possession of a firearm and conspiracy to distribute more than 10 grams of crack cocaine, conspiracy to distribute marijuana, possession of ecstasy with intent to deliver, and conspiracy to distribute more than 5 grams of ecstasy. He is being held on a $260,000 bond.
Andrea Gakovic, 18, of Waterloo, is charged with conspiracy to distribute marijuana, conspiracy to distribute more than 5 grams of ecstasy and conspiracy to distribute more than 10 grams of crack cocaine. She is being held on a $205,000 bond.
All three are being held in the Black Hawk County Jail.
