ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) -- Two people were killed, a third was injured and the driver arrested after a car crashed into the back of a parked pickup truck in St. Paul.
Police say the car struck the unoccupied pickup at a high rate of speed about 2:30 a.m. Friday.
Police spokesman Paul Paulos tells the St. Paul Pioneer Press two passengers were pronounced dead at the scene. He says another passenger was taken to Regions Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police are investigating whether the driver was under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
