DULUTH, Minn. (AP) -- Duluth, Itasca, International Falls and Grand Rapids are among northeastern Minnesota school districts canceling classes because of poor road conditions.
Snow plow drivers were out in full force after a winter storm settled into the region Sunday and caused travel headaches. The National Weather Service says snowfall came down in excess of an inch an hour at times.
In western Minnesota, which was hit hard by the storm, Fergus Falls, Detroit Lakes and Moorhead schools are among those calling off classes Monday.
