Copper theft at cell phone tower

ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) - Olmsted County authorities are continuing to investigate a copper theft at a cell phone tower.

On Jan. 21st, someone stole 25-feet of copper cable that was attached to an emergency generator at a Verizon Wireless tower on the 4600 block of 65th street northwest.

Authorities say the cable was valued at $3,200.

The same theft happened at the same tower back in November.
