ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) -- Giving kids a smile is a little easier this year thanks to some new equipment at Good Samaritan Dental Clinic.
It's the eleventh annual Salvation Army Give Kids A Smile event Friday and Saturday.
Delta Dental of Minnesota gave the clinic a $45,000 grant to purchase a Panorex X-ray and sensor technology, giving patients a better experience during their visits.
The Good Samaritan Dental Clinic opened its doors eleven years ago to help those who are uninsured or unable to pay for services
Good Samaritan Dental Clinic is staffed by more than 200 area volunteers including private dental practitioners, hygienists, assistants and clerical support. It provides services to more than 1,300 patients each year.
