Mayo Clinic and governor to make announcement

ST. PAUL, Minn. (KTTC) -- Mayo Clinic officials will join Gov. Mark Dayton and Rochester leaders Wednesday afternoon at the state Capitol to announce a major initiative.

Details about Destination Medical Center will be released during a 2 p.m. news conference in St. Paul. While details are limited at this time, a news release from the governor's office calls Destination Medical Center "an innovative economic development initiative."

We will have a crew in St. Paul and have the latest on the NewsCenter at 5.
