Minn. man accused of crashing client's Lamborghini

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -- A Minneapolis man is accused of taking a customer's Lamborghini for a joyride and then crashing it in a park, causing $82,000 in damage to the luxury sports car.

Forty-year-old David Norman Juntunen was charged Friday with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and insurance fraud.

Prosecutors say Juntunen agreed to store two cars for a customer in 2011. The criminal complaint says Juntunen sneaked one of the cars out a few months later at 1:45 a.m. A few minutes later the Lamborghini struck three trees and two light poles and damaged the grounds at a park.

Juntunen told investigators his employee was moving the car to another facility when she swerved to avoid an animal and crashed.

A telephone message left at his home Saturday was not immediately returned.
