Wabasha County Board fires new County Coordinator

Posted:

WABASHA, Minn. (KTTC) -- A wild political drama goes on and on and on in Wabasha.

A year ago the Wabasha County Board voted three to two to fire County Administrator David Johnson and replaced the administrator position with a county coordinator.

Tuesday afternoon the new Wabasha County Board voted three to two to fire the new County Coordinator Bridget Hoffmann.

What changed from a year ago?

Voters in November elected Don Springer over Merl Norman by a margin of five votes, changing the majority power on the board.

So the controversy and drama in Wabasha goes on.
