Victim identified in fatal fire

ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) -- Rochester police have positively identified the woman who died in an apartment fire early Tuesday morning.

Catherine Graham, 59, was in her unit at the Mile Manor Apartments in Rochester at about 4 a.m. when the blaze broke out.

Neighbors heard the fire alarms go off and saw smoke coming from one of the units.

They called 911 but one person had already died when firefighters arrived.

Three others were trapped in the apartment adjacent to the one that was engulfed in flames.

Two were rescued by firefighters using a ladder and the third person made it out through the window.

Police said Graham was well-like by all the residents.
