For the second straight year a Cedar Falls track star is going to sign to compete for Alabama.
Tiger all-state distance runner Allison Gregg will be signing a national letter of intent next month to join the Tide's cross country and track and field teams, according to a press release by the Gregg family.
Gregg, who won the 4A 3000 meters as a junior and finished second in the 3000 at the Drake Relays, also finished second at the state cross country meet in her junior season.
Gregg joins former CF great James Harrington who runs track at Alabama.
