ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) -- Rochester police said counterfeit money was passed at two Rochester businesses Wednesday.
The first incident happened at the McDonald's on 48th Street Southwest.
A $20 bill was used to pay but the suspect took off before police arrived on scene.
The second incident happened at Ashley Furniture off of U.S. 52. Rochester police said someone used a phony $100 bill. Employees didn't notice it was fake until the individual was gone.
