ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) -- A man has been arrested after injuring a Rochester police officer.
Rochester police pulled over Ricky Roberson for a traffic violation in the 1100 of 6th Street Southeast Wednesday afternoon.
When officers tried arresting Roberson, he resisted and refused to get in the police car.
While resisting, police say Roberson kicked the cruiser door shut on one of the officer's hands.
Roberson faces several charges including fourth-degree assault and obstruction of the legal process with force.
The extent of the officer's injury is not known.
