ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) -- Sen. Al Franken visited Rochester to discuss efforts to close the skills gap in the region.
In a meeting with education leaders at the University of Minnesota-Rochester, Franken said the jobs of the future are in the science, technology, engineering and math fields.
Franken said addressing the skills gap in the STEM fields begins with educators thinking about what new fields will be created in the 21st century.
